Accessibility
A website should not make people work around it.
internet office aims for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of design, writing and engineering rather than a final overlay.
What we have done
- Used semantic landmarks, heading structure and crawlable HTML.
- Provided keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, accordions and skip links.
- Made focus states visible and touch targets practical.
- Used labels, plain instructions, error summaries and programmatic error states in the questionnaire.
- Provided text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden decorative graphics.
- Kept core information available without motion or JavaScript and respected reduced-motion preferences.
- Tested responsive layouts and automated accessibility checks before release.
Current limitations
The three portfolio examples use distinct visual systems and are checked separately from the main site. We do not currently know of a barrier that prevents the main website or project brief from being used, but further testing and real-world feedback may identify one.
We do not claim that any website is perfectly accessible for every combination of need and assistive technology. If testing or feedback identifies a barrier, it will be prioritised by impact.
Tell us about a problem
If something is difficult to use, email hi@internetoffice.io. Please include the page, what you were trying to do, and your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two working days and give a practical response or timescale.
Compatibility and testing
The site is designed for current versions of major browsers, responsive zoom and keyboard navigation. Release checks include keyboard use, automated accessibility testing, colour contrast, responsive screenshots and the current Chromium, Firefox and WebKit browser engines.
Enforcement
