What the preview uses

We process the URL and public business details you authorise us to retrieve, or business details you enter yourself. Website content is treated as untrusted data. We do not request account passwords, retrieve logged-in content or publish prospect previews in the gallery. Checker HTML is analysed as text and is not stored as a source page.

A necessary secure browser cookie identifies your private preview. Preview records expire after 24 hours. Expired records are removed during maintenance. Your browser session protects the preview; anyone with access to that browser may be able to view it. Keep it off shared devices if the details are sensitive.

Orders and payments

When enabled, Stripe hosts checkout and handles card information. We store the order reference, your approved website information, acceptance of the terms, payment status and delivery-access hash. We do not store card numbers. Your delivery link is a secret capability; anyone who has the complete link can download the paid package while it remains valid. We never put the access key in an ordinary query string.

Paid export access lasts through the verified billing period. Subscription business-content snapshots are removed after the paid period ends and a 30-day retention window; earlier one-off delivery links retain their own 30-day access rule. Transaction and consent records are retained for accounting, disputes and legal obligations for up to six years. Preview expiry and deletion are separate: if scheduled maintenance is unavailable, records remain inaccessible after expiry and deletion occurs at the next maintenance run.

Measurement and abuse prevention

We measure approximate daily visitors by hashing the date and network address; shared networks and bots can affect the count. We use short-lived counters for rate limiting. There are no advertising pixels or analytics cookies on these product pages. Counter identifiers expire after two days; daily aggregate metrics expire after 90 days; operating error codes after 30 days. We do not store full URLs or business text in error logs.

Providers and purposes

Existing Sites/Cloudflare infrastructure processes the website and storage. Stripe processes payments when connected. A secure egress service may retrieve public pages once configured. Optional free AI may choose between existing factual descriptions only after a verified provider is configured; current production copy is deterministic. Processing supports the requested preview, contract fulfilment, legitimate interests in service security and basic measurement, and legal obligations for payment records. Provider infrastructure can involve international processing and provider safeguards; consult the provider notices for details.

Your choices

You can correct details before purchasing. Do not supply personal information that is unnecessary for a public business website. Contact us to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not enrol you in marketing or send prospect emails from the preview.
